What is Max7?

Max7 is non-invasive with no downtime so you walk out of our clinic looking and feeling great.  You will see immediate results – after the first treatment the skin feels tighter, more alive due to the increased circulation, oxygenation and moisture. You will also notice a softening of the lines and folds, an increase of inner skin firmness as a result and healthy glow and skin rejuvenation.

Max7 promotes extra collagen and elastin production which continues for up to 180 days after treatment.

Max7 uses LED (light emitting diode) technology, a scientific process that uses wavelengths in the visible light spectrum to send calibrated packets of light into the dermal layer, setting off a frenzy of cellular activity to produce softer, more youthful looking skin.

How many treatments?

Our trained staff, in accordance to your skin condition, will determine the number of treatments. It may vary anywhere from 8 to 12. For best results, it is recommended that treatments are 2-3 days apart. 

Maintenance, as with any other skincare treatment, is highly recommended to ensure lasting results. We suggest a maintenance treatment every 4 to 6 weeks.

Does the skin feel different?

How long do the results last?

Results have been known to last for from 6 – 12 months. Top up treatments are required after the initial course for optimum results at 6 to 8 weekly intervals.

Are there any side effects?

If is safe and effective for all skin types, ethnic and age groups.  These treatments have no undesirable side effects and no downtime for the client. We recommend protective eye shields for complete relaxation and peace of mind for the clients and treatments are gentle, painless, safe , non-invasive and non-abrasive.  No intra-red or ultra-violet light is used.

What is actually taking place as MAX7 works on your skin?

It is a natural photo-biochemical reaction that is similar to that of photosynthesis in plants, which triggers the body to convert light energy into cell energy without thermal injury to tissue. It stimulates the cytochromes (a protein that responds to colour) prompting the skin’s fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin proteins.

An interesting point: the same blue light used in Max7 at 450nm is the same frequency used in the medical field to help eliminate toxins, to treat liver disorders jaundice in new born babies, relieving hypertension and is efficient in treating manic depression.

How long has this technology been around?
