How does it work?

Does it hurt?

X-LUMIN-X™ Medical Intense Selective Pulse Light System is virtually painless. Some patients report little or no pain. For most it feels like the snap of a rubber band, ... others sense a heating of the skin. However, this sensation depends upon numerous factors: the individual sensitivity, the area of the body, the skin pigmentation and the energy value. It should be noted that a mild sensation of sunburn feeling might persist for a short period of time.

What should I expect after the treatment?

Pigmented lesions will darken after treatment, and then fade away after about six to eight days. The treatment does not interfere with normal activities.
Usually there are no visible affects at all. In some cases redness could appear for a few hours. After 6 to 8 days, the skin will regain its usual appearance, spots will soften or disappear and skin texture will become smoother and more radiant.

How Many Sessions Are Required?

The number of sessions depends on the nature of the target area to be treated and the result expected. This is why it is difficult to give an exact number of sessions. It is generally recommended that an average of 2 to 3 sessions for lesions and 2 to 5 sessions for skin rejuvenation are required.
